Samsung Pay: easy, secure and contactless payments

  • Practical to use anywhere: at the checkout and online

  • Your card is digitized on your smartphone or smartwatch

  • Completely contactless, hygienic payment at the checkout without having to enter a PIN on the terminal

For Samsung Pay to be set up, you need:

  • Samsung smartphone or smartwatch
  • Samsung Wallet app
  • PostFinance debit, credit or prepaid card

Activate Samsung Pay

Add your PostFinance card in the Samsung Wallet app:

  1. Start the Samsung Wallet
  2. Log in to your Samsung account
  3. Choose your preferred authentication method (fingerprint or PIN)
  4. Add your PostFinance debit, credit or prepaid card
  5. Follow the instructions in the Wallet app to activate the card

Payment at the terminal

  1. Swipe up from the bottom edge of the screen on your Samsung smartphone to start Samsung Pay
  2. Authenticate the payment with fingerprint or PIN
  3. Hold the smartphone to the contactless function on the terminal to pay

Pay with your Samsung Galaxy smartwatch

To pay at the checkout, you can also use your Galaxy watch – even if you don’t have your smartphone with you. To do so, add your PostFinance debit, credit or prepaid card to the Galaxy Wearable app on your smartphone.

Online payment

  1. Select Samsung Pay as the payment method when paying in the online shop
  2. Select the desired card in Samsung Pay and authenticate the transaction on your smartphone via fingerprint of PIN
