Participation in the promotion organized by PostFinance Ltd (hereinafter “PostFinance”) is governed by the conditions detailed below. By taking part in the promotion, participants accept these conditions of participation.
The promotion will run from 5 October 2026 to 31 October 2026. Anyone who opens a SmartStudents banking package with PostFinance incl. app or e-finance during this period will have 100 francs credited directly to their new account in December. The offer is valid just once during this time frame for customers opening their first SmartStudents banking package. Existing customers aged between 18 and 20 who already have a SmartYoung banking package during the campaign period are excluded from this promotion and are not entitled to the account credit of 100 francs.
Only those who meet the authorization requirements for the SmartStudents banking package are eligible to receive the 100 francs of credit.
Account opening point of contact
It makes no difference how or where the banking package is applied for: online via postfinance.ch, in the PostFinance App, at a PostFinance branch or in a post office. The account credit of 100 francs will be paid to every new customer who opens a SmartStudents banking package during this time.
The criteria for the banking package are as follows:
SmartStudents eligibility to participate
All persons between 18 and 30 years of age who are resident or domiciled in Switzerland are eligible to take part provided they are undertaking basic or advanced training (vocational training, middle school, technical education, higher technical education, university of applied sciences, university) of a duration of at least one year and can provide proof thereof with a valid education/training certificate.
All personal data relating to participants will be stored and used only for the purposes of organizing and implementing the promotion. PostFinance would like to state that personal information relating to participants will not be passed on to third parties or made available for use without the participant’s consent. In all other respects, reference is made to PostFinance Ltd’s Privacy Policy (postfinance.ch/dps).
To the extent permitted by law, PostFinance excludes any liability in connection with the promotion. PostFinance has the right to cancel the campaign at any time before 31 October 2026. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the promotion. Participants have no right to information. The General Terms and Conditions of PostFinance Ltd (postfinance.ch/gtc) also apply. Any right of appeal is excluded. The promotion is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern.
