SmartYoung competition
Participation in the prize draw for 20 x 1,000 francs organised by PostFinance Ltd (hereinafter referred to as PostFinance) is subject to the terms and conditions set out below. By opening their first SmartYoung banking package during the promotional period, participants thereby accept these conditions of participation.
The promotional period runs from 3 August 2026 until 13 September 2026.
- All PostFinance customers who reside in Switzerland, are between 12 and 20 years of age, and open their first SmartYoung banking package between 3 August 2026 and 13 September 2026 are eligible to take part. The youth or youth savings account opened during the promotional period must still be open at the time of payment.
- 20 x 1,000 francs will be given away.
- Each customer is eligible for a maximum of one entry in the prize draw and can win a maximum of 1 x 1,000 francs out of a total of 20 x 1,000 francs.
- Following the closing date for entries, PostFinance will draw the winners by random selection from all participants. The prize draw will take place in October 2026 and is closed to the public. PostFinance will inform the winners in writing within ten days. Any winnings will be transferred to the youth or youth savings account with PostFinance newly opened during the promotional period.
- No cash prizes will be awarded. Prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.
- All winners have the right to refuse the prize. To do so, the winner must contact our Customer Center on +41 58 448 14 14 .
- To the organiser's knowledge, a prize of 1,000 francs won in this competition is not subject to withholding tax and no registration system will apply pursuant to Art. 20a Withholding Tax Act. Statutory changes and differing case-by-case assessments by authorities remain reserved. The winner remains personally responsible for fulfilling any personal liability for taxation.
- To the extent permitted by law, PostFinance excludes any liability in connection with the prize draw.
- PostFinance may modify these conditions of participation at any time. PostFinance reserves the right to terminate the prize draw at any time without advance notice and without giving a reason. In the event of suspected fraud or misuse, breach of these conditions of participation or other similar conduct, PostFinance may exclude individual persons from the prize draw without stating reasons. If participants are excluded or if the prize draw is discontinued, there will be no right to claim for payment or compensation.
- PostFinance will enter into no correspondence regarding the prize draw. Participants have no right to information. Any right of appeal is excluded. The prize draw is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern.
