How to pay QR-bills

Scanning QR-bills

QR-bills are now the standard used in the Swiss financial center. The benefits for you: scanning invoices is easy, regardless of whether you receive an invoice by post or by e-mail. If you use eBill, you can approve QR-bills directly in e-finance or in the PostFinance App in just a few steps – and totally paperless.

Paying QR-bills with the PostFinance App

Scanning a paper invoice with your phone’s camera

Open the “Payments” menu in the PostFinance App, select “QR-bill” and scan the QR code with your phone’s camera.

Select file (e.g. PDF received by e-mail)

You can import files saved on your smartphone from the PostFinance App using “QR-bill” followed by “Select file”. It‘s even faster if you import the file from the e-mail app directly into the PostFinance App using the “Share” feature on iOS and Android.

Tip: Do you already know how to quickly access popular PostFinance App features? Holding down the PostFinance App for a few seconds takes you directly to your preferred payment options using “Scan + Pay”.
