In the Checkout portal, you can download free plug-ins for the following shop systems that are commonly used in Switzerland.
PostFinance offers free plug-ins for numerous shop systems that are widely used in Switzerland: Shopware, WooCommerce, Magento 2, OpenCart, PrestaShop, OXID and JTL. Third-party plug-ins are available for other systems (e.g. Drupal Commerce, nopCommerce, Joomla/VirtueMart), and SaaS solutions such as Shopify, Wix or Hostpoint can be connected directly via connected services.
A PostFinance plug-in is an extension provided by PostFinance for certain shop systems. Third-party plug-ins originate from external providers or communities and can be used if PostFinance does not offer its own plug-in for the shop system. Connected services connect SaaS shop solutions, e.g. Shopify or Wix, directly with the PostFinance payment solution without the need to install a traditional plug-in in your own shop.

You can download PostFinance plug-ins for Shopware, WooCommerce, Magento 2, OpenCart, PrestaShop, OXID and JTL free of charge. Individual third-party plug-ins or connected services (e.g. Shopify, Wix) incur sales fees from the platform or shop system provider.
The amount of time required for the installation depends on the shop system and its individual customizations. The Checkout subscription goes live one to two working days after being signed online.
With Checkout Flex, you choose the acceptance partners yourself. The length of time it takes to activate the desired payment methods depends on the acceptance partner concerned.
The PostFinance Checkout solution is PCI DSS certified. The plug-ins used are tested with the standard configurations of compatible shop systems. If the shop or plug-ins have been customized, PostFinance recommends checking the functionality in test mode before concluding the contract.
