Until now there has only been one way for invoice recipients to receive their invoices as an e-bill: they had to register for eBill in e-banking – separately for each invoice issuer – and fill out an electronic form. This form requests information that the invoice recipient has to find for themselves using old invoices. It is quite a cumbersome process.

Thanks to the new “Registration with the invoice issuer” feature, which the invoice issuer can integrate into their customer portal or web shop independently, there is now an additional, far more convenient method: the invoice recipient can register directly with the invoice issuer either by e-mail or company ID number – and with no need to go through banks, fill in forms or enter any additional information. If the invoice recipient registers directly with the invoice issuer, they will receive an activation code by e-mail, at which point they are ready to receive e-bills.

This solution provides an additional interaction channel between the invoice issuer and the invoice recipient, which will increase the number of eBill registrations.

It will of course still be possible to register through a bank.
