With multibanking, PostFinance is setting another milestone in the digitization of banking: the new service is aimed at all private customers with multiple banking relationships who want to simplify their account and financial overview. Accounts at third-party banks can be integrated easily with just a few mouse clicks in e-finance or directly in the PostFinance App. This facilitates a central overview of all payment and savings accounts – income, expenditure and account balances of all linked accounts are displayed clearly. This means customers can keep track of their finances at all times without having to switch between different banking portals or apps.

PostFinance launches multibanking for private customers
PostFinance now offers its private customers the option of integrating accounts from other Swiss banks and financial service providers directly into e-finance or the PostFinance App. The new multibanking service gives customers a central overview of their finances – securely, conveniently and free of charge.
Security thanks to established infrastructure
A precondition for the connection is that the relevant third-party bank meets the technical specifications for multibanking. This requires a connection to the SIX Group’s bLink open banking platform. A list of participating banks is displayed to PostFinance customers during the multibanking registration process. All transactions for the linked accounts are automatically displayed in the PostFinance analysis overview.
As a leading provider of financial infrastructure in Switzerland, SIX guarantees secure and standardized data exchange between banks and third-party providers with its bLink platform. The solution is based on recognized interface standards from the Swiss open banking ecosystem and meets all regulatory requirements for secure payment data transactions.
