Bernadette Koch tendered her resignation from the Board of Directors of PostFinance as at the end of March 2026. The certified public accountant and business economist, a graduate of the Higher School of Economics and Administration, joined the PostFinance Board of Directors on 13 September 2019 and was most recently a member of the Board of Directors’ Audit & Compliance Committee. “I look back on an exciting time at PostFinance characterized by the strong dynamism of the financial sector and PostFinance’s role as a systemically important bank,” says Bernadette Koch, adding: “I’d like to thank my colleagues for the good and constructive cooperation on the Board of Directors.”
Chairman of the Board Marcel Bührer would like to thank Bernadette Koch for her many years of commitment to PostFinance: “During her time as a Member of the Board of Directors, Bernadette Koch contributed her specialist knowledge to various committees, helping to shape development in many areas. She was always particularly keen to promote female managers, and participated in numerous in-house PostFinance events as a sparring partner above and beyond her Board mandate”. Bernadette Koch is one of the four members mandated by Swiss Post on the seven-member PostFinance Board of Directors. Further details about the appointment of her successor will be provided in due course.
