Inheritance forms
A community of heirs can only have the assets of the deceased at their disposal collectively. To access the assets held by PostFinance more quickly and flexibly, the community of heirs can issue one or more persons with a power of attorney. PostFinance offers the option of granting power of attorney by means of the inheritance authorization form.
When the estate is settled and the community of heirs wants to close the account of the deceased person, they can issue the order using the cancellation form. Please ensure that PostFinance has all the documents required to resolve the inheritance. If you do not yet have all the documents to prove your legitimacy, please call us in advance so we can tell you which documents are still required.
If you want to change the correspondence address or order documents for a new account, you can inform PostFinance using the reply form.
