Questions and answers

  • With our payment facilitator model, you as a payment service provider (PSP) can offer your merchants the PostFinance payment methods and provide them with an all-round service. You and your merchants benefit from the PostFinance Card and PostFinance Pay payment methods, which are used by 3 million PostFinance customers. This provides you with a secure and reliable e-commerce solution – without the risk of becoming overdrawn.

  • You must have a PCI certification with PCI level 1. Please note that your merchants must have a recurring and verifiable business relationship with Switzerland (regular Swiss customers; the web presence or the products/services in the shop are explicitly aimed at Swiss customers).

  • Our Partner Management will be happy to help you select and implement the right integration options – contact us at  psp-partner@postfinance.ch.

  • PostFinance itself does not offer certification. ep2 certification is carried out directly by the industry organization ep2 − the official certification and checking body. To conclude an acceptance agreement, PostFinance requires ep2-certified terminals.

  • You will receive access to the payment test platform as part of your enquiry about the integration of payment methods.
