Become a customer using your smartphone

If you do not yet have an account, you can become a PostFinance customer simply and conveniently with the PostFinance App for iOS and Android. Open a banking package with an account, PostFinance Card and e-finance access in just a few minutes. There’s no need to fill out paper documents or to go to a post office to complete the necessary identification – digital is so simple. Your account will be activated immediately afterwards. Access your account and, as required, take out other services immediately using your smartphone or computer.

Preconditions

  • You are of legal age
  • You are domiciled in Switzerland
  • You have a smartphone (iOS or Android)
  • You do not yet have a PostFinance account

Here’s how it works

  1. Have your identification document ready (passport or ID card)
  2. Download the app and follow the instructions for “Become a customer”
  3. You enter your details and take a photo of your identification document
  4. You have a short video chat with us (within 7 days)
  5. Set up your login and you can then use your newly opened account and e-finance immediately. This includes all functions such as scanning inpayment slips, transferring money, make investments, etc.
