Conditions of participation

Participation in the prize draw organized by PostFinance Ltd (hereinafter “PostFinance”) is subject to the conditions detailed below. By entering the competition, participants accept these conditions of participation.

1. How the prize draw works

The prize draw will run from midnight on 21 May 2025 to 11.59 p.m. on 31 July 2025. Within this time frame, participants will have the opportunity to take part in the prize draw. To take part in the prize draw, participants must complete and send off the participation form on the prize draw webpage.

2. Participation

Each participant can enter the prize draw only once. Participating more than once is not permitted. Participation is free of charge.

3. Eligibility to participate

The prize draw is open to all natural persons aged 18 or over at the time of the prize draw on 8 August 2025 who are permanently resident in Switzerland and who are parents of minors.

Individuals involved in designing and creating the prize draw and PostFinance employees, as well as their relatives, are not eligible to take part in the prize draw. Particularly in the event of suspected fraud or misuse, a breach of these conditions of participation or other similar conduct, PostFinance may exclude individual persons from the prize draw without stating reasons.

4. Prizes

The following prizes will be awarded: 10 x CHF 500. The money will be transferred to the winners’ accounts. The claim to prizes cannot be transferred to third parties.

5. Determining the winners

The winners will be drawn at random by PostFinance after the closing date of 31 July 2025. The prize draw will be closed to the public. The winners will be personally informed by letter by 31 August 2025.

Once notified, winners will forfeit their prize if they do not come forward within three weeks. In such an event, PostFinance will transfer the prize to a different participant.

6. Data protection in relation to the prize draw

Participants are required to provide their personal details to take part in the prize draw. The participants confirm that the personal details they have provided, in particular their first name, last name, home address, date of birth, place of residence and customer relationship with PostFinance, are truthful and accurate.

All personal data relating to participants will be stored and used for the purposes of conducting and handling the prize draw, as well as for further marketing purposes up to 12 October 2025. After this date, all participants’ data will be deleted. Participants are free to withdraw from the prize draw or the use of data for marketing purposes at any time. Their withdrawal can be confirmed by e-mail to marktbearbeitung@postfinance.ch.

PostFinance would like to state that personal information relating to participants will not be passed on to third parties or made available for use without the participant’s consent.

7. Amendments to the participation rules and cancellation of the prize draw

These conditions of participation may be altered by PostFinance at any time. PostFinance also reserves the right to cancel or terminate the prize draw at any time without advance notice and without giving a reason. If participants are excluded or if the prize draw is discontinued, there will be no right to claim for payment or compensation.

8. Bank client confidentiality

The participants release PostFinance from bank client confidentiality with regard to data that is necessary for conducting the prize draw. It cannot be ruled out that a possible banking relationship with PostFinance may be indicated by sending e-mails, nor can confidentiality of the e-mail’s contents be guaranteed. By providing their e-mail address, the participants expressly agree to communication via unsecured e-mail and waive bank client confidentiality in this regard.

9. Liability and final provisions

To the extent permitted by law, PostFinance excludes any liability in connection with the prize draw. From PostFinance’s perspective, the prize draw is deemed concluded once the prize has been transferred to the relevant account. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the prize draw. Any right of appeal is excluded. The prize draw is subject to Swiss law. The sole place of jurisdiction is Bern (Switzerland).
