Create Checkout account

Create a Checkout account at checkout.postfinance.ch and register for Checkout All-in-One free of charge. Your Checkout portal will be ready within a few minutes.

Conclude acceptance contract

Conclude an acceptance contract with Wallee Group AG to accept payments with the payment methods Mastercard, Visa, TWINT and PostFinance Card. Create the contract in the Checkout portal under “Account” > “Organization”.

Order your payment terminal in our terminal shop.

Prepare your terminal and activate it

1. Charge device

  • Charge your device fully before you use it for the first time.

2. Establish network connection

  • The device requires a network connection for activation. The connection is generally established automatically using 4G/LTE via the inbuilt SIM card.
  • Alternatively, you can connect the device via Wi-Fi (configuration via the “Settings” menu, see manual).

3. Get activation code

  • Use the activation code to link the payment terminal to your acceptance contract and Checkout portal.
  • The code will become available as soon as the first payment method has been activated by Wallee Group AG (in the Checkout portal under “Space” > “Terminals”).

4. Activate payment terminal

  • Enter the activation code into your payment terminal.
  • Set-up is now complete, and your terminal can receive payments.
