PostFinance and the National League extend their partnership until 2029

PostFinance has been the main partner to Swiss ice hockey’s highest men’s league, the National League, for over 20 years. Now the contract has been extended early and will last for four more seasons, running until the end of the 2028/29 season.

A belated Christmas present for the National League: PostFinance will support Swiss ice hockey’s highest men’s league for four more seasons. The successful partnership, which was set to run until the 2024/25 season, has been extended early and will continue until the end of the 2028/29 season. This means that PostFinance will remain the main partner of the National League and will continue to support the promotion of young talent through the proven PostFinance Top Scorer initiative.

“PostFinance and ice hockey are the perfect match. Ice hockey is a down-to-earth sport that appeals equally to all population groups – in exactly the same way as PostFinance with its services. Whether private or business customers, small savers or large companies – we interact with all of our customers on an equal footing,” explains Hansruedi Köng, CEO of PostFinance. Denis Vaucher, CEO of the National League, adds: “When a partnership in the fast-paced sports business lasts for more than 20 years, you know it’s something special. I’m delighted that this success story will continue until at least 2029.”
