Are you drawn to the commercial sector? Then you’ve come to the right place! We give you the opportunity to complete a varied and exciting course in commercial training – either in the banking sector or in service and administration. As a commercial banking employee, you will become a professional advisor for our entire range of financial products and services. As a service and administration commercial apprentice, you will work on tasks such as advertising campaigns or organizing events or training courses. You will draw up letters, minutes or contracts, compile statistics and carry out analyses.

Is talking to people one of your strengths? At PostFinance, you can train to become a call center agent. You will work in customer service at the PostFinance Contact Center in Berne and Bienne and have contact with customers by phone and in writing on a daily basis. You will advise and persuade our customers and help them with problems.
Your goal: to process queries to the highest quality. During your three-year apprenticeship, you will pass through various units, becoming familiar with the diverse range of products and learning how to use them.

Are you into information technology or mediamatics? Our information technology is shaping the digitization of the Swiss financial sector – and will continue to do so in the future. So we’re investing in the training of junior staff: our IT technician apprenticeships open up avenues in the fields of systems, applications and support. During your training, you will work with us as an application developer, tester or system specialist in projects or as an engineer or support technician in the company.

If you instead opt for a career as a mediamatics technician, we will give you in-depth training in design, photography and creative design. You will contribute to customer projects and use your skills in film, photography and design in a range of communication media.
Since 2015, we have also been training our young information technology and mediamatics technicians at the Competence Center for Young Professionals (CCYP), where apprentices manage and supervise their own projects – from preparing financial reports to designing websites.
