PostFinance reduces interest rates on savings accounts and retirement savings account 3a

The Swiss National Bank (SNB) lowered its policy rate from 0.50% to 0.25% on 20 March 2025. This is the fifth suc-cessive policy rate cut by the SNB. PostFinance is responding to this by adjusting the interest rates on savings ac-counts and the retirement savings account 3a as of 1 May 2025.

The adapted interest rates will come into effect automatically; customers do not need to do anything. For other account types, existing interest rates will continue to apply.
