PostFinance launches new SmartPoints bonus programme for private customers

Today, PostFinance is launching SmartPoints, a new bonus programme for private customers. The new service is integrated directly into the PostFinance App and e-finance, and offers customers a range of options for automatically collecting points and reaping the benefits by taking part in various activities and using PostFinance products.

The key points in brief

  • Today, PostFinance is launching the new SmartPoints bonus programme for private customers, which is integrated directly into the app and e-finance.
  • SmartPoints can be collected automatically and paid out as credit to a private account.
  • With the introduction of SmartPoints, PostFinance is replacing the previous cashback policy for credit cards.

With SmartPoints, PostFinance is expanding its range of digital services and enabling private customers to be rewarded for using PostFinance products. Customers can use the new bonus programme to collect and then redeem SmartPoints.

Collect points automatically

Private customers can register for SmartPoints in the PostFinance App (under “Offers”) or in e-finance (under “Products”) from 18 May. After registering, they can automatically collect points, for example when paying with their PostFinance credit card, PostFinance Card or with PostFinance TWINT. SmartPoints are also credited for selected product subscriptions and for special events such as birthdays or anniversaries. In addition, customers can collect further points via fun features such as challenges or prize draws. The SmartPoints you collect can be paid out as credit to your private account.

SmartPoints replaces cashback

With the introduction of SmartPoints, PostFinance is replacing the previous cashback policy for credit cards available to private customers. For payments made with a PostFinance credit card, the equivalent value remains unchanged for customers: they can continue to have credit paid out in the same amount as before. Customers can now also collect points when paying with their PostFinance Card and with PostFinance TWINT, and have these points paid out as credit to their private account.
