Fraudsters are currently sending fake e-mails in the name of PostFinance requesting that customers check and update their customer data in line with the Anti-Money Laundering Act (AMLA) (see image below). The title of the e-mail is something like “Final reminder: update customer data in accordance with AMLA FL-086485” (in German: “Letzte Erinnerung: Kundendaten aktualisieren gemäss GwG FL-086485”), although this may vary. The “Enter information online” (German: “Daten online erfassen”) link/button provided leads to a phishing page.
PostFinance does not send e-mails of this kind. PostFinance never asks its customers to update their customer data by e-mail.
Anyone receiving such an e-mail should ignore and delete it.
