    What are the preconditions for a student account?

    • You are between 18 and 30 years of age
    • You are in education or training for a period of at least one year, full-time or while working
    • Education or training includes: vocational training, middle school, technical education, higher technical education, university of applied sciences and university

    How can I convert my youth account or private account into a student account?

    If you meet the preconditions set out above, please send us a copy of your training contract or proof of education or training. After checking your details, your youth account or private account will be converted into a student account.

    What is the overdraft limit for a student account?

    The account must not be overdrawn. If creditworthiness checks are positive and regular credits are made, PostFinance may grant an overdraft limit of CHF 1,000 francs and change it at any time on request.
