This year PostFinance is supporting up-and-coming Swiss ice hockey players by contributing 192,900 francs. The 14 National League Top Scorers racked up this sum of money during the 2022/2023 regular season for the youth divisions of their clubs. This year saw yet another thrilling race to the very end to score the most points.

This afternoon, the National League’s top scorer awards will take place at the Stufenbau in Ittigen (Bern). During this event, PostFinance CEO Hansruedi Köng hands out symbolic checks to the most prolific point scorers in the National League. For each point (goal or assist), PostFinance pays 300 francs. All of the money earned by the Top Scorers goes to the junior divisions of their clubs. PostFinance congratulates all 14 players on their excellent performance.

“Veteran scorer” Roman Červenka is the National League’s Top Scorer

The SC Rapperswil-Jona Lakers forward, Roman Červenka, earned a total of 17,700 francs for his club’s youth division. He scored 16 goals and 4 assists, making him the National League’s Top Scorer. Genève-Servette HC’s Linus Omark secured second place, scoring a total of 56 points (16 goals and 40 assists). SC Bern’s Christopher DiDomenico scored 23 goals and 30 assists during the qualifying round, coming in third.

Promoting young talent

PostFinance is committed to promoting young Swiss ice hockey talent. Thanks to the Top Scorer concept, the youth divisions have benefited since the 2002/2003 season from professional equipment, participation in training camps or the purchase of transport vehicles, among others.
