FAQs about the Travel card

With the reloadable Travel card, you can make payments and withdraw cash from ATMs worldwide. You’ll find many answers about the Travel card here.

  • Current cards remain valid. You can use your card as usual. The contractual relationship is still between you and the issuer of the card, i.e. Swiss Bankers.
  • Cards can be reloaded with the Swiss Bankers app, in e-finance or at any PostFinance branch.

    When the card is reloaded, a commission of 1.5 percent of the top-up amount is charged. Depending on the card currency, the top-up limit is CHF, EUR, USD 100 to a maximum of 10,000 per card. The total top-up amount for one year is CHF, EUR, USD 100,000.
  • You can check current top-up amounts, the latest card transactions and other information about your card, and activate or block countries, at any time on the Swiss Bankers website or The link will open in a new window app.

  • If you lose the card, contact Swiss Bankers directly at +41 31 710 12 15 and have your card blocked. Replacement cards generally only take a few working days to arrive. Outside Europe, replacement may take three to four working days when away from bigger cities.

    If you lose your card, you will receive a free replacement, including your remaining balance, which can be delivered to any address worldwide.   • The Travel card and replacement card are free of charge.

    • Cash withdrawal at ATMs in Switzerland: CHF/EUR/USD 5 per transaction (depending on card currency)
    • Cash withdrawal at ATMs abroad: CHF/EUR/USD 7.50 per transaction (depending on card currency)
    • Purchases in Switzerland and abroad: CHF/EUR/USD per transaction (depending on card currency)
