In order to benefit from the credit, the following conditions apply:
The funds saving plan must display at least 12 executions and still be active on 31 May 2019. Each customer can benefit from a maximum of 300 francs (corresponding to 3 new funds saving plans). The offer does not cover funds saving plans with money market funds, retirement funds and fund purchases via e-trading. The credit will be paid in a one-off payment at the end of June 2019 to the debit account for your funds saving plan. For a foreign currency debit account, the credit will be paid as an equivalent amount in the respective foreign currency, which may result in currency translation differences.
What do I have to do to benefit from the funds saving plan promotion?
To benefit from the promotion, you need to create a new funds saving plan. The plan must amount to at least 100 francs and payments must be made either monthly or fortnightly.
New funds saving plans in which payments are made every two months or quarterly are not included in the promotion. Note: Closing and reopening a funds saving plan is not regarded as a new funds saving plan.
Is the offer valid for partner accounts?
Yes, the offer is also valid for fund custody accounts that are operated with a partner account or in a partner relationship.
Which funds can I buy to benefit from the funds saving plan promotion?
The promotion allows all funds from the current range to be selected in order to open funds saving plans (excluding money market funds, retirement funds and fund purchases via e-trading).
Retirement funds are excluded from the «funds saving plan» promotion because it is not possible to open a funds saving plan for them. However, from 1 February to 31 March, you can still benefit from 100 francs’ credit even with a retirement fund, so long as you invest at least CHF 5,000 in a retirement fund.
What is the maximum number of funds saving plans I can have and still benefit from the promotion?
Up to three new funds saving plans per customer relationship can benefit from the promotion. For example: if you manage your own private account, then that is regarded as one customer relationship. If you also manage a partner account jointly with someone else, then that counts as a separate customer relationship.
Is the promotion also valid if I open a funds saving plan online?
You can open the funds saving plan via e-finance, by visiting a branch, or by completing a request form.
What is meant exactly by a «customer» in this promotion? I have a joint account with my spouse.
The offer is valid per customer or customer relationship. For instance, if you have your own private account, then that is regarded as one customer. If you also have a partner account together with someone else, then that is similarly regarded as «one customer».
When will the credit from the promotion be paid out?
The 100 francs’ credit will be paid in one instalment in June 2019 – irrespective of whether you opened a funds saving plan in February or May that fulfils the conditions of the promotion.
How long must the funds saving plan be active for?
The funds saving plan must be active until 31 May 2019 and at least 12 executions must take place.
