Medium to long-term money is traded on the capital market. Companies raise most of their money for forthcoming investments on the capital market. They obtain long-term money by taking out long-term loans and borrower’s note loans from the banks and by issuing shares and bonds, etc. The federal government also uses the capital market for the long-term financing of its tasks.
