Conditions of participation

All persons who apply for a credit card or prepaid card from PostFinance between 1 May and 4 June 2023 will receive 50 francs credited directly to their PostFinance account by mid-August 2023 following the successful verification of their application. The offer does not apply to second cards or to upgrades to existing credit cards and is valid only once when applying for a credit card or prepaid card during the specified time period. The amount will be credited once per person (and not per card).

In order to receive the account credit of 50 francs when applying for a credit card or prepaid card with PostFinance, the application must be successfully verified during the specified time period. The requirements for credit card and prepaid card applications are as follows:

Preconditions for applying for a credit or prepaid card

A banking package at PostFinance is required in order to apply for a credit card or prepaid card from PostFinance. When applying for a credit card or prepaid card, therefore, a PostFinance banking package is opened automatically if the applicant does not yet have a PostFinance account.

The price for a banking package (banking packages for adults/ banking packages for young people and students under 30) and for the paper option  applies per customer relationship. A customer relationship can include several accounts. The fees are charged monthly.

Important: People who have not yet reached the age of 12 are excluded from the offer. This is due to the minimum age of 12 years required for prepaid card applications.
