Software partners can have their software products reviewed by PostFinance and thus achieve various levels of ISO 20022 readiness. The software is reviewed in terms of its functionality and process support.

Support for ISO 20022 implementation through objective evaluation

By reviewing ISO 20022 readiness, PostFinance is pursuing the following goals:

  • Qualitative evaluation of a software product with the focus on ISO 20022 based on defined use cases
  • Clear positioning of software products in solutions sales for business customers

Different levels of ISO 20022 readiness

Software products can achieve three levels of ISO 20022 readiness:

  • Level 3: Ready for digitization (highest level)
  • Level 2: Classic business with optimizations (middle level)
  • Level 1: Classic business (lowest level)

ISO 20022 readiness is evaluated on the basis of two dimensions:

  • Process dimension: Differentiated by accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash/liquidity management
  • Function dimension: Differentiated by available ISO 20022 functions

The three levels are awarded for each of accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash/liquidity management.
