The PostFinance Board of Directors has appointed Gabriela Länger as the new Head of Working Environment from 1 November 2017. In this role, she will also be joining the financial provider’s Executive Board. Working Environment covers both the Human Resources and Logistics units with more than 100 employees.
In Gabriela Länger (1971), PostFinance has a proven HR expert with many years of managerial experience, a broad professional background and a high level of language competence. From 2013 to 2017 she was Head of HR and a member of the Executive Board at localsearch. During this time she established a professional HR department, successfully worked on the implementation of a salary and management model together with the trade unions and introduced workplace health management. For the nine years prior to this she was employed in various roles at the SBB, such as Head of HR for the Customer Service Center and for Marketing & Sales, as well as Project Manager for Maintenance and Head of the Chiasso Service Facility and Goods Vehicles Maintenance.
Originally from Winterthur, she studied psychology and business administration at the University of Zurich and has an Executive Master’s in systematic, solution-orientated coaching. She is currently undertaking an Executive MBA at the University of St. Gallen which she will complete in October 2017. Gabriela Länger lives with her husband in Oberdorf in the Canton of Solothurn.
