First-hand accounts – our Master’s trainees talk about their job

  • “During my studies, I was never quite sure what direction I wanted to take. So I worked in different fields while I was studying, and I came to realize that I was particularly drawn to marketing and communication. As a trainee, I have the opportunity to become more familiar with these fields in practice. I particularly appreciate the varied nature of the work. I manage campaigns independently and work directly with agencies, while having to consider the various needs of internal stakeholders. This gives me the opportunity to assume responsibility and learn something new every day.”

  • “The people were what did it for me. I first encountered PostFinance at a graduate fair. The positive air of the people won me over right from the start, and my impression was confirmed in my interviews and my first few days at work. The way I was welcomed into my team was amazing. I get the opportunity to look into many different projects and assume responsibility for sub-projects. And my relationships with the other trainees are also great. We’re all different, but we complement and get on with each other really well. You can see it from the fact that we do things together in our spare time. The best example: a skiing weekend we organized together on our own initiative.”
