With a private account from PostFinance you can pay conveniently, securely and free of charge in over 3,000 online shops. The amount is debited directly from your account.

Private account
To make payments, you need the following:
- Your PostFinance Card Direct or PostFinance Card Ticket
- The ID or TC number on the back of your PostFinance Card Direct
- Personal Identification Number (PIN) for your card

Payment step-by-step
- Select items and place them in the virtual shopping basket
- Fill out the PostFinance Payment interface
- Wait for confirmation. The invoice amount will be debited from your postal account free of charge
Simple identification procedure (micropayment)
- For amounts up to CHF 100 or EUR 65
- All you need is your PostFinance Card
- Identification via the card and personal ID number

Data encryption
- All data are encrypted during the online connection between the purchaser, merchant (online shop operator) and PostFinance.
- The merchant cannot see either the ID elements or the payment data.
PostFinance Card: deactivation of simplified identification in online shopping
The cardholder has the option of having the simplified identification blocked by Shopperhelp Customer Service. In this case, the card reader procedure is used for each payment with the PostFinance Card.
You can ask Shopperhelp Customer Service to block your account for e-payment debits effected with the simplified identification procedure.
